At SECA, we are all about helping small, local and remote communities create something great from very little. Our services include:
- Structural Engineering: Our engineers will use the latest in design tech to help you realise a cohesive vision for your project. From simple wall removals to the detailed structural design of buildings—we are the team for the job.
- Site Inspections: A site inspection can occur at any stage of your construction project, including during excavation, insulation and roofing. Booking an inspection with our team will make sure your site meets all regulations and will help your project go ahead without a hitch.
- Engineering Plans & Designs: Need a hand bringing your project to life? We provide structural engineering services working with architects, builders and homeowners.
- Solar Panel Testing: We provide mechanical load tests (simulated static, wind load strength test) of solar panels. The test procedure followed is similar to the method outlined in AS4040.2:1992, Static Strength Test Regime.

Who We Are
Proudly NT owned and operated, Structural Engineering Consultants Australia was established in Darwin in 2015 by Ray and Natasha Colley and is 50% Indigenous owned. Ray worked in the building supplies and engineering industry for many years before deciding to open a small family engineering business. Natasha is a proud Dalabon woman and previously worked in the IT industry. Along with Co-director and Engineer, Darryl Robinson who is also a QLD registered engineer with 40+ years’ experience and Senior Engineer, Wisnu Lim having over 20 years’ experience in the construction and engineering industry.
Together we make SECA a family oriented business providing local and remote communities with high-quality engineering services.
Our passion for assisting the community has led us to grow our own team of dedicated engineers who love to give back wherever possible.
